Class I (Title I) ordinary rifles, pistols, revolvers and shotguns do not need ATF Tax Stamps or transfer documentation. Class III/NFA firearms do require the appropriate documentation to be submitted to the ATF. These items include full auto machine guns, silencers, short barrel rifles and shotguns, etc.
